About Hypersparkle

Hypersparkle started out with a love of all things sparkly and shiny. I would frequent my local estate jeweler and always find something new and exciting. It opened my eyes to the world of vintage and antique jewelry.

One of the things I learned along the way is that a lot of jewelry is destroyed by places that “buy gold”, valued simply for its raw materials. It broke my heart to learn so many incredible works and pieces of history were destroyed forever. I wanted to do something, and so, Hypersparkle was born. I want to help pieces of beautiful jewelry find their new homes and become heirlooms once more, to be treasured by a new family for generations to come. I often joke that I run a "jewelry adoption" service.

Along the way, I’ve learned so much and I continue to learn. I love reading about jewelry history and I am currently in training with GIA, the Gemological Institute of America, to eventually become a Graduate Gemologist. Outside of the jewelry world, I also love to garden, paint watercolors, make pottery with my husband, read, and exercise. I appreciate you coming by and getting to know me a bit. I look forward to chatting with you and helping you find your next family heirloom!
