Store Policies

Hi! Thanks for buying a piece of jewelry from me. When you purchase, your payment is an agreement to these terms.

First things first - if you make a purchase through this Shopify website, you will be receiving an email from me confirming your order and asking you for a piece of additional information as a method of fraud prevention. If you do not reply within 24 hours, your order will be cancelled.

No refunds, returns, or exchanges. You, the buyer, acknowledge by purchasing you are buying a used piece of jewelry. The jewelry I sell are estate pieces, meaning second hand. Some antique, some vintage. This means they’ve been worn, will not look new, have wear & tear, dings, discoloration, and may have unseen issues or weaknesses from age/wear. I do my best to disclose any MAJOR flaws, but I am one human being and not a goldsmith. This risk is part of buying estate/vintage. EVERYTHING IS SOLD AS IS. Please review all videos and photos as well as asking any questions prior to purchasing. Once you have purchased, the item is yours. Please note that sometimes with brooches, the pin mechanisms can be base metal so that they are stronger. If this is a concern, please reach out and ask before purchasing.

If you want a cash discount, please reach out to be via Instagram to arrange your purchase via other payment methods such as Zelle or Venmo. I do offer 0% interest layaway program which can be arranged via Instagram only.

Boxes in images are for photography only and not included with your purchase. I try to be as eco-friendly as possible, so items are packaged in simple Kraft brown boxes with my logo sticker. If you would like upgraded packaging for gifting, please reach out.

If you feel I’ve made a gross misrepresentation (for example, I said it was 18k and it was actually 10k gold), you have 3 days upon receipt of your item to bring the issue to my attention so we can discuss options to remedy the situation. If an item needs to be returned, an insured label will be issued to you and it is expected that you will send that return within 3 days, securely packaged, and in the condition in which it was sent to you. Upon receipt and inspection to ensure the item is in the same condition, a refund will be issued. Wear & tear, breakage, etc is NOT covered under this. Once an item leaves my hands, I am no longer responsible for it.

All orders placed on my website include USPS Ground shipping, shipping insurance and signature confirmation. There are also an option at check out to upgrade your shipping to Priority Mail. If you want to upgrade to UPS or FedEx, please reach out and I can price that for you.

If an item is lost or damaged during shipment, please notify me immediately so I can file an insurance claim. Once the insurer has reimbursed me for the lost package, I will reimburse the customer. I will communicate with you throughout the process and I may require you to send pictures and documentation if for example, the packaging was ripped open or damaged during transit. Please be sure to document everything upon receipt if you receive a damaged package.

Regarding how I test pieces, I test the metal on every piece of jewelry I purchase via a touchstone tester (Kee) and acid. Antiques especially may not be entirely precise to the gold standards of today (for example, it may test 11.5k using an XRF tester (which I unfortunately do have access to) but it is marked 14k). Some items will also NOT have gold standard marks as they may have been made before they were required or have been worn off. I test all gemstones using my GIA training with tools such as a refractometer, microscope, spectroscope, etc, but if I am unsure, I do send stones off to a fully trained Graduate Gemologist to confirm my findings (I'm still in school). If you have any questions regarding the gemstones in my pieces, please reach out and I can let you know more.

At this time, I do not offer resizing or modification services.  I personally feel it is always best to work with a local jeweler who can help you long term with the maintenance of your jewelry. If you absolutely do not have a local jeweler nearby to work with, please reach out to me and I will do my best to assist you.
