Antique 10k Lavalier Pendant

The term "lavalier" term describes elongated pendants that were popular around the turn of the century. It is thought to have been named after the Duchess Louise de La Vallière, the mistress of French King Louis XIV in the mid 17th Century as she often wore an elongated necklace. This lavalier is petite and oh so sweet. It features a little old cut diamond and pearls, done in 10k yellow gold and weighs 0.72 grams.
